George Lucas just can’t stop tinkering with his masterwork, this time re-editing the Star Wars movies for their debut on Blu-Ray. The Nerd Rage is roiling, but we at Captain Scratchy are happy to see Bronson Pinchot get new exposure. Still, we would have preferred he replaced Jar Jar Binks (and you’ve got to admit, the resemblance is remarkable).
I would have been hurt had Binksie been replaced. At the very least he should be recycled by George Lucas. Hey, I recycle every Jar Jar I use; Lucas can, too.
